DESCRIPTION

Under the curatorial guidance of Sofia Baldi Pighi, Particle explores the rock-art heritage  of the Val Camonica Natural Reserve through four thematic digital routes: spirituality and magic, prehistoric interspecies relations, the feminine in prehistory, and connecting with ancestors.

Through an inclusive app, users — whether on site or from home — can choose a path tailored to their age group and background, including families, teenagers, schools, people with disabilities, and enthusiasts. Each route deploys audio narratives, augmented reality, 3D models, video trailers, and gamification to offer an immersive, educational, and participatory experience.

Sofia coordinated with museum directors and educational staff to design these themes and ensure the app speaks to diverse audiences, especially more fragile ones. Her vision positions Particle not just as a cultural tool, but as a bridge for deeper, symbolic engagement with the prehistoric landscape and its voices.

DESCRIPTION

Under the curatorial guidance of Sofia Baldi Pighi, Particle explores the rock‑art heritage of the Val Camonica Natural Reserve through four thematic digital “routes”: spirituality & magic, prehistoric interspecies relations, the feminine in prehistory, and connecting with ancestors.

Through an inclusive app, users — whether on site or from home — can choose a path tailored to their age group and background (families, teenagers, schools, people with disabilities, and enthusiasts).
